Read More >In our personal life, we always try to keep up with what is trending in society. In our business life, keeping up with trends is vital. Event planning is not an exception. Adam Clark, from Enterprise Event Group, suggests that event planners should watch out for the following trends that will determine if your event is trendy enough in this day and age .
• Mobile technologies ( mobile-enabled sites, apps, etc)
Mobile technology such as mobile-enabled sites and apps has become increasingly popular along the past years, becoming both an integral component in our lives and a piece of the primary screen experience for applicants. In events it is used for information management, registration, participant communication and engagement.
• The demand for incorporated technology solutions
Event attendees are after technologies that can cater for all the event need without having to switch from on technology to another. Single sign-on and single-source data management and reporting for true event and cross-event intelligence is preferred. Design is also important – technology does not only have to work, but it has to look good as well.
• More personalization
Personal social integration is becoming a must in today’s events. The utilization of social technologies tools like digital displays, graffiti walls, photo booths plus many other technologies tools are largely used to provide a charming personal experience for everyone. There are huge efforts made by the companies to offer outstanding personal moments by utilising the social, tech and physical elements.
• Disposable tech
‘Disposable tech’ refers to those low-priced, limited or single-use techused in events to build up a memorable moment. Some examples could be new wristband options and LED lights that drop and float into crowds.
• The event being utilised as a tool for conversation
Many companies are creating special, invite-only and private events that aim to interact with customers on a local and regional level in addition to the large events. These take different forms, such as the Amazon Web Services’ pop-up Loftand Salesforce’s small event tours. These events allow the large brands to engage their customers and attendees more frequently.
