Read More >Summer is drawing close and this can be seen in the rising temperatures this month of May is bringing with it on our lovely Maltese Islands. We know that planning some kind of pool party is on the minds of many and we also know that everyone wants it to be a party to remember, and that’s exactly why we will let you in on some tips that will make your party shine!
The Maltese Islands are full of venues with pools but don’t your for a second think that booking one of these venues is an easy task. If you have your heart set on a specific pool area, make sure that you book a couple of months prior or else be ready to compromise the date/time of your event.
Do they need a change of clothes? Are there showers they can make use of? Are food and drinks provided? Are children welcome? These questions can easily be answered in an e-mail or invite and your guests won’t have to worry about not being prepared for all outcomes.
No, by avoiding rays we do not mean you have to avoid all guests named Ray, but we’re referring to those rays coming from the giant ball of fire in the sky! You can leave a basket with sun screen and if children are coming, providing them with water wings might be a great option. Moreover, make sure that there are shaded parts where people who don’t particularly like staying in the sun, can also relax and enjoy the party in their own way.
A pool party does not require you to feed your guests a 3-course meal or a buffet, rather, finger food is the best way to go. Welcome drinks and constant refills are also important, especially since the heat of the summer will get too much to handle if your guests are not hydrated enough.
