What To Look For When Selecting a Venue
When planning an event, one of the most underestimated decisions is choosing the venue.
Read More >Stop for a second and think about your favourite brands. Which are they and why do you like them? Chances are the brands you thought about are foreign and there is probably a myriad of things you like about them.
But why did images of foreign brands flash in your mind? According to JB Steenkamp, professor of marketing at Netherlands’ Tilburg University, it is because “If a brand is perceived to be global, that creates a value in the mind of consumers.” Crucially he adds that consumers associate global products with quality.
With this knowledge in mind, it becomes easy to understand why parties held in Malta branded under well-known foreign names are always successful. It’s as if people know for a fact that the event will deliver.
Arguably, this makes the event easier to market to a wide audience. Names like Space Ibiza or Pacha need no introduction. Having attracted the world’s best DJ’s, guests attending events by either brand will know that a quality experience will await.
As a matter of fact, whenever a Space Ibiza or Pacha branded party was held in Malta, it was always deemed as a success. So the bottom line is quite clear: Want your event to be considered a success? Start off on the right foot by using foreign brands.
